Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently a part with CNBC. She serves as co-anchor on the channel's programs 'Squawkon the Street' and Closing Bell'. The Ohio native, she was not much fascinated by the market and currencies during her time in college. While at New York University, she worked as an intern for an online start-up called ForexTV.com. Her first exposure with business news through this job. Then, she graduated with an advanced degree in broadcast journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. The work experience was for four months with Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. She then returned to America and began working in New York at Bloomberg. She became a TV anchor later. CNBC hired her in December 2013 as a reporter. After serving as co-anchor for "Worldwide Exchange" as well as Power Lunch', she was appointed by CNBC in December 2013. She then got the job at Closing Bell in 2018. Eisen is the co-anchor of "Squawk on The Street" since 2014. She is one of the most well-known business journalists today. Since joining CNBC her main concern has been the global news for consumers.
